Terms of Service
These terms apply to the editorial and publication-support services provided by Article Avenue Publishing. A project-specific proposal or agreement may add or replace terms for a particular engagement.
Nature of the service
Services may include manuscript assessment, language and structural editing, journal research, formatting, reference checks, submission guidance and peer-review response support. The author retains responsibility for the article, evidence, authorship, declarations and final submission.
No publication guarantee
Journal decisions are made independently by editors and publishers. No service guarantees peer review, acceptance, indexing, publication speed, citations or any other journal outcome.
Client responsibilities
Clients must supply accurate information, legitimate authorship details, lawful source material and clear instructions. Clients must verify facts, data, references, permissions, conflicts of interest, ethics approvals and journal declarations.
Scope and delivery
The agreed scope, files, schedule and deliverables are confirmed before work begins. Timelines depend on prompt access to required materials and timely client responses. Delays caused by missing information or late feedback may change delivery dates.
Revisions and approvals
Revisions are provided according to the agreed scope. The client is responsible for reviewing changes, answering queries, confirming factual accuracy and approving final files.
Fees and cancellation
Fees, deposits, milestones, cancellation terms and refund conditions are specified in the project agreement. Work completed before cancellation may remain chargeable.
Intellectual property
The author retains ownership of the original manuscript and research. Rights in custom editorial deliverables transfer only as stated in the written agreement and after any required payment is completed.
Limitation
To the extent permitted by applicable law, liability is limited to the amount paid for the affected service. Article Avenue Publishing is not responsible for editorial decisions, publisher actions, lost opportunities or indirect loss.
