Privacy Policy
Article Avenue Publishing respects the privacy of website visitors, authors and prospective clients. This policy explains the information collected through this website, how it is used and the choices available to you.
Information collected
The website may collect the details you voluntarily provide through the enquiry form or support chat, including your name, email address, requested service, preferred timeline and project description. The chat system may store messages and a temporary access token in your browser so that a conversation can continue.
How information is used
Information is used to review enquiries, respond to questions, prepare quotations, provide agreed services, maintain service records, protect the website and meet legal or administrative obligations. It is not sold to advertisers.
Storage and email delivery
Enquiries and chat records are stored in protected JSON files on the application server. Where SMTP email is configured, enquiry notifications and confirmations may also pass through the selected email provider. Hosting and email providers may process information in the locations described in their own privacy terms.
Consent records
When the enquiry form is submitted, the system records whether the contact consent box was accepted, the submission time and the privacy-policy version associated with the form.
Retention
Information should be retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for enquiries, service delivery, record keeping, security and legal requirements. Administrators should regularly review and delete records that are no longer required.
Data sharing
Information may be shared with service providers that support hosting, email delivery or agreed project work, subject to appropriate confidentiality expectations. It may also be disclosed where required by law or necessary to protect legal rights.
Your choices
You may request access, correction or deletion of personal information, subject to applicable legal and record-keeping requirements. You may also clear the website’s local chat session from your browser by starting a new chat or clearing browser storage.
Confidential material
Do not place confidential datasets, identifiable participant information, unpublished sensitive evidence or full manuscripts in the public enquiry form or support chat. Secure transfer arrangements should be agreed separately.
